Planning Kits
Printable planning material for designing a camera system and getting it installed correctly.
In preparation
A full planning kit is being put together: the coverage survey worksheet, the camera count and storage calculations, the PoE budget sheet, a cable schedule, and the pre-install checklist, all as printable pages you can take to the job.
It is not ready yet, and we would rather say so than sell something unfinished. In the meantime everything the kit will contain is already on this site and free to use:
- Work out your camera count
- Size the drive for your retention target
- Size the PoE switch
- Check every cable run against the standard
- Complete build lists with running totals
If you would like to know when the kit is ready, the email form on any build page is the place to ask, and we will send it there first.
